As some of you might have seen already I have started a new multi-chaptered fanfic calles Addictive Release. It’s a crossover between Harry Potter and the tv-show Higher Ground (staring Hayden Christensen, Joe Lando, Jewel Staite and AJ Cook) and will take place in the HG-universe, which means it will be AU and non-magic. I originally started the story a couple of years ago but gave up on it when I couldn’t get a hold of Higher Ground and wasn’t certain about all the details.

 

I still haven’t got the tv-show but when I started reading through what I had so far inspiration struck and I decided that to hell with canon! This is fanfiction and I can change it however much I like, thank you very much!

 

There are four and a half chapter written so far (three written before the hiatus) and I don’t know how long it will turn out to be. I’ve got several good plot bunnies though and some chapters I’m just dying to write (why do the chapters have to come in the right order!?) so it’ll probably be pretty long. Can I take a shot at guessing around 15? Wait, is 15 considered long..? Yeah, yeah, whatever, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there!

 

Oh, and because it’s been so long since I watched Higher Ground the characters will probably be a bit OOC. At least I’m pretty sure my Ezra is more outgoing and confident then in the canon version and I think Scott might be a bit more social too. And I’m struggling like crazy to keep Daisy from being a mix between Luna Lovegood and River Tam (Firefly) but she just takes on a life of her own! Not that I mind too much, she’s fun as hell to write, Shelby too.

 

And Harry… Well, he’s not the kind of Harry I usually write. He’s got a backbone in this one. Yes, I never thought I’d write him like that either.

I’ve just finished reading the most incredible Harry Potter/Supernatural-crossover ever! It just blew me away!

The story is Stutter and Stumble by sparkley-tangerine, which ships Harry/Dean in the cutest way I have ever seen without becoming silly. And even though romance is a big factor of the story it doesn’t take over completely. There is still a very good plot, lots of action and, most importantly, the boys just don’t fall madly in love and snog each other silly for the rest of the story.

An extra plus (as if you would need anymore) is that the story is completed!

Do you know what’s bugging me at the moment? Ff.net’s stupid advertisements! You know when you open a page and a second later that page fads out and this huge advertise fills up the whole page and then it takes a couple more seconds before you can skip past it. I hate it! I know, I know, a few seconds isn’t all that much and it isn’t good for me to be all stressed out over something that small but it still annoys me.

And what about those advertisements with sound!? You accidentally move your mouse over it and suddenly some little skeleton starts this evil laugh. Hate, hate, hate!

“I wanted to be in Gryffindor with you but the Hat was weird and said I was really brave and that was good because I would need to be brave in Slytherin, and I think that stupid hat’s cracked!”

And being the one no one knew anything about meant that, for Harry, life was about to get harder. He considered, however, that he didn’t particularly trust them either, so he supposed it evened out.

I found a new story that just got me hooked! It's a non-magic fic with Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy as the main pairing. Check it out if you have some time to spare!

Picture my happiness today as the sequel to one of my favourite Harry Potter-fanfics was finally posted. Alright, so it was posted on the twenty-first but I’ve been away again and didn’t get a chance to use the internet until today!

The story is Sound of the Revolution by beakanoma and is the second story in The Love So Green Collection (first part is A Lack of Color). It’s a slash story with a Harry Potter/Cedric Diggory-pairing that starts at the end of PoA and continues during GoF. The reason that I love it so much (except that it ships HP/CD) is because beakanoma give the boys relationship a chance to develop without making it feel rushed. She gives them insecurities as well as strengths which make them feel much more real then in most other stories where the authors just makes them perfect from the start.

So if your in the mood for a nice romance that is also filled with action then I suggest you check out this story!
