Give Me Comfort

Chapter 14 of Addictive Release is up and with it came a new and improved banner.

Trouble

Well, I’m pissed of! I’ve been trying to upload the next chapter for Addictive Release to ff.net but it just won’t work. All I get is this error message that they can’t convert my file so there’s either something wrong with the file or there’s something wrong with the site. My bet’s on the site. Bloody annoying is what it is!

And I was so looking forward to posting this chapter too! Things are finally starting to move forward and I really wanted everyone to read the end of the chapter and then find out what you all thought. I’m kinda nervous about it too but most of all I’m excited. I really hope you all will like it!

I’ll try to update one more time tonight but if it doesn’t work I’ll give up for now and try again tomorrow!

The Moment I Said It

It’s kinda ridiculous how happy a review can make an author but it’s still true. Even if it’s just a short “Great chapter” you just can’t help but to smile. But then sometimes these amazingly long reviews drop in that just makes you laugh because you’re so happy and for weeks, whenever you have a down moment, you just remember that review and that cheesy smile breaks out all over your face.

CatishAngel07 for example have left me reviews for the last three chapters of AR and all of those have been long and so nice and helpful. She always tells me what she liked about the chapter and if there is something I should think about. I love reviews like that!

And then today I got a review from Sam who, sadly, didn’t have an account so that I could respond. But it was freakin’ long! And so funny! Don’t know the last time someone made me laugh that hard. And it was amazing because it made me fall in love with this story all over again and my fingers just itched because I wanted to start writing again.

So to everyone out there who has reviewed any of my stories; I love you! All of you! You’re simply the best!

Life, As Experienced Through Your Fingers

I want to recommend a story that’s almost too good for words. I read it several years ago and just fell in love with it. For some reason I never saved it on my favourites list (I think this might have been before I had an account) and because of that I forgot about it. But a few days ago I remembered it again and, by a lucky chance, I stumbled across it on an other authors favourite list. I’m so happy that I did because the story really is just as wonderful as I remembered.

The story is called Life, As Experienced Through Your Fingers written by Gold-Snitcher. It’s a non-magic story with Harry/Draco as the main pairing and takes place at a boarding school for the arts. Harry plays the violin and Draco the piano.

It’s a very sweet story that still have some funny moments and a deeper side that is really sad. I think it might be the most beautiful fanfic I have ever read.

If you haven’t read it or even if you have but it’s been awhile then I suggest that you follow the link and check it out. It really is worth the time!

Into Your Hideout

Yes, I know that I’ve been real slow when it comes to updating lately (and that’s both for this place and for Addictive Release) but I’ll try to do better!

On that note I can tell you all that I’ve written about 1000 words on the next chapter of AR. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish it this week.

I’ve also changed this site so that it now concerns fanfiction in every genre. Well, at least every genre that I’m reading ^^

Bleeding Hands

Bleeding hands

of a broken boy

Maybe there was more

but it all went wrong

.

Trusting in others,

thinking love could be true

He had a big heart

and so much to lose

.

He left his hero

to seek out his star

Tiered of being ignored,

wanting a fresh start

.

Words of promise

“You’re the only one for me”

Words of devotion

“I need you, don’t you see”

.

It started out fine,

he started to live

He thought that maybe

this could be it

.

But everything came to an end,

as destined to do,

when one boys betrayal

was the others doom

.

He had thought he was loved,

that promises were kept

He would never have guessed

that this was how it end

.

Angry tears

and broken hearts

Bleeding fingers

Roses torn apart

.

The romance was over,

all hope was lost,

the shine seemed to fade

our Sunshine went dark
